Rutini Single Vineyard Altamira Malbec 2017 3lt - A rare last chance

Rutini Single Vineyard Altamira Malbec 2017 3lt - A rare last chance

$553.00

This magnum is a rare last chance! The grapes used to produce this red wine come from Rutini vineyards in Altamira, specifically from a classified plot (clone 104), which is one of the most prized among the winery collection of 26 different Malbec selections.

In this terroir, the vines yield low production, and when harvested at perfect ripeness, they deliver intense aromatic concentration. On the nose, floral notes dominate—especially violet and lavender—with a hint of anise. These aromas are complemented by cocoa and toasted notes. On the palate, the tannins are firm yet smooth, with a fresh and lingering finish.

100% Malbec from Altamira. 12 months of French oak. 80% first use barrels and 20% second use. 100% malolactic fermentation. 15 years cellaring potential. Just a few left in Artisan Malbec cellar!
