Lagarde Guarda Malbec D.O.C 2021

$55.00

Guarda Lagarde Malbec DOC 2021 is a premium Malbec crafted from old‑vine fruit and aged 12 months in French oak. It delivers rich aromas of blackberry, plum, and violet, layered with subtle spice and cocoa. Full‑bodied yet elegant, with silky tannins and a long, balanced finish—perfect with grilled meats, slow‑cooked dishes, or aged cheeses.

94 POINTS Andrew Caillard MW

Medium deep crimson. Intense dark cherry, mocha, roasted chestnut aromas with hints of tapenade. Generous dark cherry, blackberry, roasted chestnut, marzipan, touch aniseed flavours, fine grainy/ cedary tannins and well-balanced fresh acidity. A classic claret finish. Best to decant to allow the reductive notes to blow off. Drinks very well. 12 months maturation in new (30%) and seasoned oak. Drink now - 2036 14.1% alc
