Fernet-Branca is an Italian amaro liqueur that is exceptionally popular in Argentina, where it is most famously mixed with Coca-Cola. The drink's popularity in Argentina stems from the large Italian immigrant population in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. While its origins are Italian, the national consumption in Argentina is massive, with Córdoba Province being called the "world fernet capital".
