Bodega Colome Estate Malbec 2013 - Magnum 1.5l

Bodega Colome Estate Malbec 2013 - Magnum 1.5l

$155.00

Crafted from some of the world’s highest vineyards in the Calchaquí Valley, Salta, Bodega Colomé Estate Malbec captures the extreme purity and intensity of its terroir. A true expression of high-altitude winemaking, this wine is produced from vines planted at elevations between 2,300 and 3,100 metres above sea level.

The 2013 vintage was aged for 15 months in French oak barrels and a further 6 months in bottle before release. Deep purple in colour, it offers an alluring bouquet of blackberries, violets, and spices, interwoven with hints of graphite and cocoa.

On the palate, it is full-bodied yet elegant, with vibrant acidity, fine-grained tannins, and remarkable balance. Layers of dark fruit, mineral notes, and a long, persistent finish reflect the singular character of Colomé’s historic estate.

Super limited release. Part of Artisan Malbec’s exclusive Museum Collection, available in Australia in very small quantities. Magnum format perfect for collectors or special occasions.
