WORLD MALBEC DAY 2019
Raise your glass of Malbec this April and be part of this global event!

Wines of Argentina theme this year is "ELEGANCE DOESN'T NEED PERFECTION"

Elegance is the attribute of being exceptionally beautiful and simple and is frequently used as a standard of good taste. An elegant wine is defined by its refined quality, its noble features and its marked balance; it is one that transmits a wide range of suggestive sensations in the nose and mouth. Today a balance is sought to obtain unique textures, perceptible freshness
and an aromatic variety that provides incomparable complexity.

Malbec is currently going through its best moment: production is growing daily and new wines and wineries are constantly emerging. It is a leader in volume, quality and exports, thanks to the fact that winemakers are no longer looking to make perfect wines, but to express the terroir and the particular characteristics of each area, due to the variable nature of climates and soils that exceed the variety.

This is how the identity of the wine is revealed and that is where its elegance lies. The identification of micro – regions, the study of soils, the search for identity and all the technology in winemaking has shown that Malbec is capable of. “Perfection is
not achieved when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to remove” (Antoine de Saint - Exupéry) and in this sense, Malbec, far from being perfect, still has much more to offer.

“Up until now it was all about the variety of the grape, but now the first ‘terroir wines’ from Malbec have started to appear”

“Consumers always associate Malbec with Argentina and what characterises us like tango, soccer, beautiful landscapes and our meat. Malbec reflects all of what Argentina is made of”
